Simon has been working in advertising and marketing for over 30 years. With a character only marginally less colourful than his wardrobe*, Simon has managed teams, departments and regional offices and worked with clients across employer and Education marketing.

Since 1999 Simon has specialised in the Education sector with board-level roles at Havas and Hunterlodge, including orchestrating the infamous Heist Awards for Education Marketing.

His other claim to fame is that he once directed and starred in a TV commercial with Patrick Stewart. Simon is also a non-exec director for Ucisa Services Limited (the member organisation for IT professionals in HE) and the LGBT Foundation, a national charity.

*There is no truth in the rumour that Tim Peake could see it from space. It was the Northern Lights, honest.
